Empty promises: Book Review

I got a free copy of this book through BookSneeze.com.

“Empty promises” by Pete Wilson is a small book with a big message.

It’s about the various empty promises that we look up to for our satisfaction. He speaks about the various internal idols that we create and worship. He defines Idols as “idolatry is when I look to something that does not have God’s power to give me what only God has the power and authority to give”.

He explains that our heart is an Idol factor because we are wired to worship.

Then he goes on to explain the different idols that we have created.

The ultimate solution is that only God can truly satisfy us.

I would highly recommend this book to all who are dissatisfied and disappointed with their life.
